Will keratin get rid of my natural texture?
Every keratin treatment is customized to the current condition of your hair, as well as what you want to see from the results. If you're looking to keep your natural curl but eliminate frizz, I can do that. If you want to remove some of your curl pattern, I can do that too. Everything will be discussed prior to your treatment.
How long does a keratin treatment last?
Anywhere from three to four months, depending on your lifestyle. I'll discuss which products to stay away from and which ones can help with longevity.
Can I get keratin on color-treated hair or highlights?
Absolutely! Highlights and color should be performed before the treatment. If color is done after the keratin, waiting two weeks is advised.
Will extensions damage my hair?
When properly installed, maintained, and removed, IBE extensions are designed to help protect your natural hair while giving you the length and fullness you desire. However, no extension method is completely risk-free. Proper placement, the right amount of hair for your natural density, and consistent maintenance are essential to minimizing tension and preventing breakage. I'll assess your hair and discuss whether extensions are the right fit for you, so we can achieve beautiful, seamless results while prioritizing the health of your natural hair.
How long do extensions last?
With proper care, the hair can last up to a year.
How often do my extensions need to be moved up?
IBE extensions typically need to be moved up every six to eight weeks, depending on your natural hair growth, lifestyle, and at-home maintenance routine. Regular move-ups are essential to keeping your extensions comfortable, maintaining a seamless blend, and protecting the health of your natural hair. During your appointment, I'll remove and reinstall the rows to accommodate your hair growth and keep your extensions looking their best.
How much are extensions?
Pricing depends on your desired length, fullness, and number of rows. At the consultation, we'll discuss all of that.
What is your cancellation policy?
I understand that plans can change. I kindly ask for at least 48 hours' notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment.
